Fraud Clueless Indian calling for someone who must have had my phone number before. Same clowns keep calling from different numbers Then went into a routine about 'how do you pay your bill ? so trying to get new personal information.

Called the number and they put the phone down on us clearly a fraud from a foreign country. Called bank and blocked account from been ripped off by these disgusting evil cretins. Silent call on answer, rang the number back, got an American female recorded voice about online appliance servicing and to leave details to be called back. Had to ring twice to work out what the recorded voice was saying as it was spoken quickly, to the point it seems designed that way to mislead. I suspect these are some kind of call-back scam. Calls have come after interacting with Estate agents online, before that nothing except years ago, when the same thing happened after dealing with estate

SCAM said they were fromm EE and was about my internet. I don't use EE.
It was a recorded message with a very polite womans voice stating she was from bank security advising that there was two suspicious transactions from my account one was £300 pound from Amazon and the other was a card transaction from abriad of £1300. The recorded message then asked me to press ONE to speak to an advsor. I hung up the phone immediately and called 1471 the call was timed at 1345 hrs on 26-01-2023,

Said he was from amazon calling about my order, from India. I said i don't have anything on order with Amazon. he said fucking idiot listen to me.. I ended the call!
Said they were BT, I had too many people using my IP. The account name was wrong. They said they could block them from their server, but it would be better from my PC. After my challenges they sent a text message with a verification code. It said to change my password. I did. Had one previously, real BT support said it was a scam. Assumed this identical call was too. Only the false account name was a clue, otherwise how can you tell?
