Scam caller claiming to be from Virgin. The call was made by an official sounding call centre (the woman sounded Indian). She claimed that there has been suspicious activity from unknown IP addresses using my account and that it was being used for criminal activity and that she needed to help me protect my firewalls etc. I immediately became suspicious as I'd heard of such calls being made and told her that I'd call Virgin directly to resolve any issues. A call where nobody spoke directly to me, although the background noise was from an Indian sub-continent call centre, based in London!! Must be classed as dangerous

Act like revenue Asking to pay outstanding balance or you will get prosecuted Probably a scam but I’m not 100% sure

Beware !! They are scammers pretending to be police, saying my national insurance number and bank account were compromised and tried to instruct me to download Revolut to protect my savings !

Spam. Was an automated message with threat that my internet is going to be disconnected. I have a BT line, so I put the phone down on it and then picked it up and waited for dial tone and then dialled 1572, which allowed me to block the last calling number. Not sure if that blocking facility works on other providers landlines. But worth a try. It's a neat facility.

Asian accented male called "George" who wanted to know which handset and mobile provider I was using. I asked if he would like to stop wasting time and just ask for my credit card details. He hung up.

SCAM Short ring , if you do manage to answer in time it’s say we have registered your details then hangs up If you ring back it’s one of those high call numbers where they don’t answer and it’s a fortune per minute Scammer avoid at all costs

They pretended they were from Amazon re my order, I asked for what and it was for, apparently an iPhone £799.00, I said really and they hung up immediately!

Somebody purporting to be "Ellie from Options" texting me about my non-existent job application, asking for my address, email address, national insurance number, copies of passport, birth certificate, proof of national insurance, copy of my Cscs card (whatever that is!) back and front, 2 x working references. Obvious phishing exercise. Fraud
