They use a dialler to make contact and do not charge for their service. If you agree to have a surveyor visit your home they are polite and helpful. Their home assessment is free of charge. If they identify an issue they bring it to you attention. They then compare your home's issue with previous case studies.

Received a call stating from British Gas with regards to my boiler cover. Advised that I will be covered for £22 a month and asked for my sortcode and account number. They also advised that if I had any issues with my boiler I should call the freephone number which was 01202 138 752. When I advised them that I work for British Gas Services which I do they hung up. Absolutely a massive scam caller, no company name given and just factually incorrect. They're fishing for some poor person who's in debt that will believe the nonsense they're saying. Be very careful and do not give them information, they had my full name. Scammer/Phishing.
