I was caught out by this today. They claimed to be calling from O2. Luckily, I realised after the call ended and was able to change my account details before any damage was done. The scammers knew all of my details - full name, address, email address, how much I'm billed each month - even my security question. They were very convincing. Received a call from 01206700891 which I missed initially. Then I got a 2nd call the next day which I answered. There was no voice on the other side, just silence, and then it hung up 3 seconds later. Sounds like an automatic system checking for active telephone numbers. DON'T ANSWER this number.

When i did answer you could hardly hear them, tried to ask where i had entered this competition and they couldn t answer me as to what website i did the competition, just that i entered one for a mini, iPad, iPhone and ?10000. he then wanted my bank details, do not trust.
