I believe this is the Barclaycard fraud department. Or it better be.

Foreign agent, aske for named person, would not identify themselves.

Claimed to be from the Credit Investigation Department and, when I told her that I had no outstanding debt, she hung up. Like others on here, I frequently post things for sale on Gumtree. Today, after posting an item, I received a text from this number, asking me to contact them by email. I did (but as I smelled a rat from the get go, I used an alternative email address that they can spam as much as they like) - and they replied almost instantly and very similarly to what others have received from them:- "Thanks for getting back to me,am really new to buying things on Gumtree i want the camera, i would like you to answer m

Repeatedly called me, when answered they try to sell to me, more commonly I just get vague office noises and then a hangup.

Called once, hung up on answering. Called back. Claimed to be AA Accident Care Team. Had no accident at all since driving. Never been with the AA! Bunch if scammers!

If you see this no come up on your caller display 0161 814 7196 don t answer. They tried to sell me something to do with funeral plans and we re very rude, when it told them I wasn t interested

You can use Truecaller to block calls. You will get notification that the number tried to call but when blocked it doesn t actually ring so you are not disturbed. You can pay by setting up direct debit and then cancel so not automatically taken following year. Don t take renewal quote...go on to AA site and get quote. Will be lower than renewal. Some organisations ie NHS get discount. Be smart. Play them at their own game.

6 calls over 3 hours about a non existent car accident

this number called father 83yrs sold him call blocker ?89 never received it can not now get in touch with them these are con merchants who pry on the elderly.IF CALLED TELL THEM TO F*** O** robbing Bs

Got a missed call from this no just after a scam call , it wasnt a known no to me and did not try to call back. Did not get any more call from this since then so not sure but definitely suspicious

After three calls yesterday about the same thing, all from crooks saying they were from Talk Talk, this man had rung to tell me my router had been compromised, though I did not pay much attention to what he said was wrong with it. I told him what a bad line it was and got him to repeat several times. He said he would call another time but I told him not to bother. I said I knew who it was calling. He wanted to know who I thought it was. After I identified him as a criminal he called me something rude

Random fund raising company, as I haven't given my details out this is a bit fishy!

Have been charged for 11 calls to this number in one day and 4 calls earlier in June. I have not made these calls and have reported it to BT but they can t do anything about it until after my next bill in September.

Automated call claiming to be from Amazon advising that a £600 (always seems to be this exactly same amount??) e-phone had been purchased on my Amazon account.
