Impossible to tell - Caller would not answer questions and admitted he was reading from a script. I told him that I was not happy and suspected cold calling and possibly fraud - there was no answer to that . He did not hang up and I terminated the call about 45 seconds later

When I told him this and challenged him choosing my number randomly, he told me I would have answered Yes to a question on a telephone survey. When I disagreed, he hung up.

SCAM / SPAM Appears to be a banking scam. Received a text message saying that I had successfully paired a new device and should click on a link if I hadn’t recently paired a new device. The link is to a fake Halifax website which asks for login details. I phoned the Halifax and they told me it was a scam. The worrying thing is that they knew my name, number and that I bank with the Halifax! Beware!!
