They should not be doing this! There are a few things that you can do to stop them making calls to you in the future, and help to stop them making calls to others. You can register your landline or mobile number for free with the Telephone Preference Service (TPS) - an industry body that gives customers the option to outline what kind of calls they are willing to take (opt in) and those they are not willing to accept (opt out). Caller identified herself as Julie Smith from Signet Advice (as far as I could tell with some background noise). Said she d been informed I was recently injured in a car accident that wasn t my fault. I asked her how she knew that. She replied that she was sorry to bother me and would remove my phone number from their database and hung up on me without pausing for breath. Pond scum. (My number is registered with TPS and I can t stand talking to idiots so I ve reported them)

this number called say his name MATTHEW to do with loft insulation that needed to be updated and did i know that some cavity wall insulation they had done was causing insulation...

Scam Alert! As above, American voice, claims to be HMRC. I ve just blocked the number so I won t be bothered again. Total scam!
