Looks like a financial scammer. Said I had two payments about to be made from my bank account, one for Amazon for £250 and one an international money transaction for £900. Checked with my bank - no transactions due.

Caller says you've suspicious transactions on your card, knows your name and last four digits of the card. Asks you to check the balance, in my case without any security questions. Hung up on me and didn't call me back when I told him I keep very little in the account, whilst I was silently checking the account in the background. Think the name was "Aurora IT Solutions" or "Corona". Unwanted call offering vague 'help' with company phones and IT. Said we'd need to fill out forms and post back in order to be removed from their calling list. Don't talk such rubbish down the phone, and kindly stop cold-calling us immediately.

Called at 5:15pm 6.7.23. Calling about solar panels being installed in your area and are you the owner of the house. I didn't go any further, just said 'Goodbye' and put the 'phone down. I am pretty sure that had I held on they would have wanted to arrange to come and see property about installing solar panels. I class this as 'dangerous' especially if they get through to vulnerable persons.
