Cold call asking if I'd had an accident in the last 3 years. Didn't even have the correct name for me and hung up when I asked to be removed from their database.

SCAM. I just activated my number and then 3days later (today) I've received 2seperate calls from them. One was that I'd apparently made enquiries on their WiFi broadband internet. SHE GAVE ME MY OWN FULL NAME AND DATE OF BIRTH!!!! HOW DAMN SCARY IS THAT!!!! Called on our landline. Recorded message from Bank Security (didn't bother to say which bank). Apparently 2 transactions on my card (which one?!) £300 to Amazon and ..... I gave up at this point as it's obviously a scam. All our banks are based elsewhere so wouldn't phone from a local number and have mobile phones as first contact. Our number is recorded on Telephone Preference service but that doesn't seem to make any difference

I received a call this afternoon from David from London Police Station informing me that fraudulent transcations are taking place in my account (approx. ?3100) and it would be best for me to relocate my funds into safe keepings. Does this sound strange to anyone else? I said righto mate, "I expect that you will take care of it for me then." - Not a believer.
Calls the office and hangs up - no one speaks
This number calls me every day with two or three times at about 10 minute intervals. They never leave any messages. Clearly they know that I would not wish to speak to them. They seem associated with another number 07482874785 which also calls each day with the same pattern and often one number makes its calls and is then followed 10 to 15 minutes later by the sequence from the other number.

They text you and pretend you have missed a parcel (no information is given about the parcel.) then ask for postcode (any postcode you enter always comes up with same page about try to delivery today at 11:23.) the asks for personal data name address birth date and then ask for a small fee for redelivery and ask for bank card and bank account details.

Had a missed call from this number, 01224573601, and they left a message. Seemed to be requesting help with a failed transaction, asking for further help with his payment. Unsure if it was genuine or spam.

(keep this 1 second silence in your ringtone or media folder) 2.Save the recording and call it scamtone or something. 3. then enter the scammy number into your address book as ; scam1, scam2, scam 3 etc. Each one represents a different scammy number that you get over time. 4. finally, associate the 1 second of silence with each scammy number as a ringto
