I just received a missed call from this number and a automated voicemail. They stated they were HMRC and that I had an open action against my National Insurance number that needed immediate action, or will result in my NI number being suspended. I called the number back and an Indian sounding man answered with “Hello, HMRC” when I said I had received a missed call, the line went dead. OTHERWISE I COULD BE PREVENTING GENUINE CALLERS FROM USING THEIR PHONES. AFTER CHECKING ON LINE THE PHONE NUMBERS THAT I DO NOT RECOGNISE OR THOSE I HAVE ANSWERED AND FINDING OTHER REPORTS ON LINE I HAVE REPORTED THESE TO BT TO HAVE THEM STOPPED. BT HAVE A HELP LINE ON THEIR WEBSITE AND AT THE END OF THE LIST IS A SECTION FOR SCAM CALLS. I CANNOT REPORT THIS NUMBER AS
