Caller addressed me by my first name but that was all I could understand, the noise going on in the background (His) drowned out everything else he was saying. I would describe the noise as though he was calling me from a very busy PUB. I told the caller this and hung up. No attempt was made to call me back. SCAM

Call center / SCAM Initially received a strange call supposedly from a call centre in Laos saying they were calling on behalf of Accenture Recruitment UK. I was then contacted by this number via WhatsApp & they have been relentlessly trying to get me join a part time job opportunity to make extra income with very little effort for a company called 'Dynatrace' even though I have repeatedly said that I am not interested. Finally blocked & will be reporting the number.

I just got a call claiming (falsely) to be from this number, claiming (again falsely) that it was BT Openreach (or something). When I politely declined, the caller said (as they hung up) "Fuck you, fuck you in the face". Which may well have been the only genuine thing about the call. Out of curiosity, I called the (Bristol) number back, but the person who answered said they hadn't used their phone this morning (and sounded nothing like the first caller). He said he was passing me to his manager (diff man) he asked spelling of name, asked for postcode and house number. When I questioned needing house number he said checking because of scams. Also said different dep and just verifying. He asked for sort code & account number, when I questioned this HE HUNG UP! I called 3 not them. SCAMMERS!!
