An automated call that said it was from the warrants and fraud department. That I was being arrested for fraud if I didn’t press contact the dept by pressing 1. Definitely a spam but some vulnerable people would panic

SCAM - Said they were from BT Open Reach. Told them I was with Virgin which she then spoke over me and told me they were picking up problems from my router. I told them I'm a software engineer and they hung up.
When asked who was calling, caller hung up.

I made the mistake of ordering a kitchen appliance from Boots Kitchen Appliances / AO. Within a day I d received 8 sales calls. Do not give these people your number. Not even for "delivery purposes". They will instead use it to spam you relentlessly until you eventually block them. They even switched to using a "Private" number when they realised they had been blocked. Silent call Some heavy breathing, lol!! Apparently from “Leeds Tank”????!! Said: “the office is now(14.30pm) closed, please ring again between 9am and 5pm”. Putting this in the “rude comedy scam” label. It CANNOT SURELY be a genuine bona fide call. I suspect the “Closed at UK time 14.30” aspect makes it a foreign caller, disguised: SUSPICIOUS!!
