I have had these calls - they phoned my mobile and I didn't think till later how they got it. They said they were calling re problems with cavity wall insulation which I had done a few years. I was convinced and made arrangements for a visit on Monday - its weekend now so cannot contact them. If they call I will just turn them away. Its so easy to get drawn in.

Just took a call from this number - they asked for me by name and then said I had recently entered a competition and thats how they got my number and they wanted to save me money on my power supplier - I politely explained I wasnt the bill payer and wasn t interested. SCAM This number appears to the associated with Bank Payment scams because I nearly fell for one, Had an automated message stating from my bank say that they had identified to large debits against my account which were suspicious. When I replied that they were not mine, I was put through to this number and was answered by a man who gave his name as a Paul Butler and stated that he was a member on the bank fraud investigation team. I got suspicious when he told be that this call was confidential.
