Keep getting calls from this number, when I pick up, it just drops the calls. Now blocked.

Male with Indian/Pakistani accent claiming to be from the Telephone Preference Service. Requested my personal details to ensure the service was maintained.
The number 0131 331 4665 called my landline twice on 27 October once at 1.55pm + again at 2.10.with silence at the other end ( the STD is an Edinburgh) I suspect that these people are phoning to see whether I m in with a view to burglary Do other people get these problems

Work programme provider named Ingeus. They try and get unwanted jobs for people that are too far away and harass you and threaten to stop your money if you say no. DO NOT ANSWER.
Came up as a missed call, do not know anyone in this area.
Missed call on mobile and I have no ida who it is from so have blocked it! No message left on voicemail
Used a known name against my mobile number. He said he was Mohammed from "something" (didn t hear it) Finance company. I told him to never call this number again and have since blocked it.
