They then asked me When did the car accident take place? I told them to f*** off and they hung up. l suspect this was an interactive robot speaking, very believable and spoke good english but didn t recognise my long winded response for not been involved in any car accident .

Call center -operative claimed to be from Virgin Media Technical Services; said he needed me o take my (landline phone) into the room with the computer, then turn it on, so he could do something to my router, to "give me the speed [I] was paying for". I've had at least four calls from these guys (with heavy Asian accents, to the point of not being able to be understood); it is the same script, but the calls have come from a number of different phone numbers in the West Midlands. i missed a payment a few days ago now ive had several calls which they choose to let it ring 3 times then hang up only to do same thing over n over! they have already added a charge for non payment yet there harassing me non stop get a grip littlewoods been with ya for 14yrs never missed a payment n this is how you treat your customers shoddy customer service think i might invest in a fog horn :)

so far these scammers have phoned me 4 days in a row, 6 on day 1, 3 times day 2, twice yesterday and so far twice today.. When they actually do speak or you hear something.. its either a recording telling you your about to be disconnected from BT and press 1 to connect to bt.. premium rate number.. or you get a indian claiming to be from bt, or they just keep saying hello before putting the phone down.

Just had a call from this number. The other end sounded like a call centre, but no one spoke. Then it cut off. They rang me on my landline number.

I have sorted my problem with Aknica by reporting them to the TV LICENCE people on 0300 790 6137, they put me directly through to them and they could not find me on their system? It seems they had got the wrong name my surname wrong christian name so took me off their system! 5 minutes later I got a call from the same number a local number and they where asking about a road traffic accident? Somehow they are putting a local dialling code onto your phone so you pick up ????
The only way to get at these people is to go onto the Information Commisioner s website and report the number. If enough of us do this, they will investigate the number. There are very heavy fines for companies who do this. Report them every time you get a call - it is very easy to do.

Recorded Message received at 14:33 on 1st Nov 2018 claiming to be Nicole from BT saying that my IP address had been compromised and that if I pressed 1 on my handset that their engineers would rectify the problem, otherwise ALL of our internet and Wi-Fi service would be suspended within 24 hours (see also 01938640745) for same threatening message
There was a recorded announcement of two misuses of my credit card (one of them Tesco). No mention of who was calling. A recorded announcement asked me to "press 2 and hold" to speak to customer service. A male voice with a strong foreign accent then asked me for my personal details. When asked what bank he was from the phone went dead.
