Indian callers are using this number to scam people - acting as BT officials and urging the people they call to switch on their computers so they can either fix your internet connection or help you get rid of a virus. Being extremely PC-savvy, I challenged the caller, at which point they disconnected the call.

I was called by 01131132840 today 15/12/14, Indian sounding lady, telling me she has been tracking my use an can see my Computer has various problems, virus etc and that she can help me, usual rubbish. knowing that she was going to try and access my PC to either download virus or steal my personal info I asked her sarcasticaly do u need to remotely access my computer?! She answered I m not saying that and immediately hung up on me!

Number pretends to be HMRC calling about tax fraud registered against my name. Automated call, threatens you with imminent arrest if you hang up or don't press 1. Once you press one, a very deep Asian sounding accent answers and asks you for your details. Which they should have since they claim to have opened a case against you. Kept going on about special deals, he was obviously going off his own script because it made no sense. Automated call pretending to 'have information about an accident'. Waste of time and a scam
0161 9741694 have just been blocked by me as again they ignore my request to stop calling me. They ask about a car accident I have had in the last 2.5 years which I have not had. I asked him to remove my name and number from their list and then he put me onto someone else who was pushing the same agenda. I ended up telling him this was harassment and put the phone down on another very ignorant man.
