An Indian person called claiming to be from Carphone Warehouse asking for an upgrade even tho I never signed up from them in the first place! Be careful from imposters as scammers from India will bounce their phone numbers to a UK number making you think it's a legitimate number.

Call from agent for EE, which I managed to get them to verify as the number on my phone came up as possible fraud. My broadband/TV Box price has now been frozen by them for 18 next months, (EE previously sent me warning it would be going up at end of contract date) and a free upgrade to super-fast broadband, from fast. They were able to give me details about when my phone,that I also have with EE, was due for upgrade as verification that they were actually genuine, as I ve had callers before about phone

Called received - automated message claiming to be from Visa regarding large transaction on my card and to press 1 to stop the payment. Didn't sound right. Called it back to get no answer and eventually the default EE voicemail message
No answer when I picked up. Part of a series of different suspicious mobile numbers to have called me since yesterday. Only one of them responded when I picked up a (an automated message supposedly from my unnamed Internet provider).
Have been ringing me for days and finally caught me out when I answered. Said their records show they could save me some money on my mortgage! Bearing in mind I’ve just tied in to a fixed rate with a completely different bank to see how and told them so, then he asked what I’m paying in insurance premiums and when I said I’d really rather not say, he just hung up! Definitely a scam. BT, Openreach, TalkTalk, Virgin etc., will never call you about a technical issue unless you contact them.
SCAM - very unpleasant call. Recorded message on voicemail (electronic voice) said if I didnt answer I would be arrested immediately. So far no arrest, so looks like I havent woken up in a dystopian nightmare where the police issues threatening electronic messages for 'criminals' afterall. Could be very frightening for some.

calls every day at least once usually between 10.30 and 12.00. Never answered as I only answer callers I recognise. Looked it up and lots of people get the same no. calling. I have no contacts in Northern Ireland so assume it's a scam or telemarketing so will never answer it.
