Called today saying they were from BT asking to check the line speed. I asked them to call back later then contacted BT itself who told me it was a scam.

I have BT call guardian blocking withheld numbers and also a person need to identify who they are before the call gets through. This number fang but all the message left was double-beeps. The number was a mobile so I called it back and was put through to an answer message identifying the caller as Rache from Providence Personal Credit. So marketing or spam call as I have had no communication or contact prior to this with them.

Irritatingly persistent
they just keep on calling and calling - similar theme here - heavy asian sounding accent that is very hard to understand - my number is a company phone as i have informed them - but they just keep calling. I now answer and then just lay the phone on the table so they just chat away to the air in general - irritaing people
Called on my mobile and as soon as I answered they hung up. As soon as I hung up, my landline rang with an unavailable number (possibly coincidence, possibly not) .. it also went dead as soon as I answered.
