I don't have a contract with O2!! Also had a call from 01233 542989 this morning but couldn't answer it - seems like the same company. This UK mobile number called my mobile and it was an automated voice saying it was about my "Visa OR Mastercard" (which one?) and that £600 had been spent on it 15 minutes ago. Press 1 to stop the payment. I did not press anything and hung up.

This number has threatened to kill a friend of mine over text, and has exposed the location of my friend.

So when I see Tunisia on phone display blocked and reported to all possible-ICO/7726 and all on line forums utter utter scumbags. WhatsApp getting lately which I’ve never had. *SCAM* Amazon Prime Renewal! (Spoofed number - Probably someones home number!) Obviously A SCAM - I don't have 'Amazon Prime' account. Recorded message/menu, that sounds totally REAL!! NB: WHY would a GLOBAL company be calling me from same Area Code!? Probably to panic people into giving out personal details (ie Bank info)!!! Best Advise: NEVER answer call from an UNEXPECTED number you DONT KNOW, let answer phone take it. Saves you a lot of hassle!

East Asian lady called about Windows, but cut herself off mid script. Called back within a couple of minutes with the same script. Obviously a Windows PC scam

They were indian, male and middle aged, they identified themselves as John Martin. I am ex-directory and my phone is registered with the telephone preference service to block sales calls and unwanted calls.

Fraud A scam - and a very convincing one too !! Purport to be transaction investigators for TSB, and for an hour went over and over questioning, checking transactions, cancelling card, and then working very hard to persuade that account needed closing and reopening with a safe sort code and account number, asking about standing orders and Direct debits!!! Thankfully we realised in time and put a stop to it. They had enough information by then to make it dodgy!!!!
