Checked this number on reverse lookup which suggests that this is a Vodafone number. I then I checked on Vodafone 'is it us calling' which says that this is not a Vodafone number

Unable to answer the original call a voice message was left to call this number back. The voice message did not state the company involved but required an anti-fraud check. This was a 'genuine' number, but the questions were probing and having given my contact number after questions to verify myself I was asked for the last 4 digits of that contact number already given, there were too many disconnected questions that could be joined up for other fraud. I terminated the call. Supposedly Barclaycard.

Don't know who called me from this number. I jumped out of bed when the phone rang but I didn't pick up as I didn't recognise the number. It was 7:36 am ffs! Even the sun was still in bed where I live in Greater Manchester and I do't even know where Thanet is, never mind why someone from there would be phoning me at an ungodly hour. I highly suspect this was a scam call.

I rang the number back it’s about PPI saying I had money back in 2019 I told the lady I didn’t receive any money and to remove me from their database She started to raise her voice asking why would they do that when I had received money! BEWARE..these are scammers trying to get you to call their ‘bank helpline’ to check about apparently unauthorised debits from your bank account. I hate people who do this. The automated female voice is realistic but banks never do this sort of stunt. BEWARE!
Called from this number 08.31 today - caller claimed to be from my bank and that there had been suspicious payments on my bank card. This was followed by the usual requests that I press numbers to confirm or reject these payments, I did neither just hung up and checked my bank information.

She insisted this was not a scam and asked what was funny. I said I was surprised this scam was still going and asked if she couldn't get a proper job. Again she insisted it was not a scam.
