Untrustworthy scale - 10! Computer scam! Have been called at least five times in as many days. Different person each time (one time a woman, the rest were men). Some VERY aggressive. Have told them in no uncertain terms (!) that I know it is a scam and that they are NOT calling from Microsoft and requested they never call my number again. It doesn t stop them though - there are too many of them calling from this number to have any kind of a system. They just don t care. Surely this land line number can b

Indian call center - claimed to be from OPUS energy and that my current energy supplier was overcharging me!!

These numbers are provided by "reputable"service providers and are used (mostly) by independent marketeers on commission from large companies (e.g. BT, Sky, British Gas, etc.) to push products. I do NOT understand why TPS, ICO, or anyone else seems to give a proverbial **** about the nuisance these people are when you have taken every precaution to avoid them.

This number calls at least 4 times a day, I m sick of these calls Most of the time it rings off when I answer. I have blocked it but it still manages to get through!

Despicable company. Called me at exactly 11 am today when the minute s silence for Manchester outrage was starting. I asked Kirsty - the operative who called - if she knew what time it was and she put the phone down. Someone must know who this outfit is so we can name and shame?

This number is ao.com. They ring it when you ve placed an order in the pretence of confirming delivery details etc. In fact, their sole purpose is to sell you their costly insurance cover for the items you ve bought. No new information re delivery details is provided, they just repeat your order details. These are unsolicited scripted insurance sales calls and as such a form of harassment. They don t leave a message when they ring so that you ring back and incur the cost of the call. Very shoddy behaviour.

Got a call on 8.19.14. No message and did not answer. Looks like an overseas area code.

Reports on other sites suggest it s the old "you ve been in a car accident" scam.

Asian person saying will only take a minute just wanted to ask a few questions. normally i just hang up but for some reason i didnt. asked me what my brand of tv is, how much i spend on holidays, who my electricty is with, my income bracket where i would go on holiday. dont think they are con artist, just gathering data so more companies can send you spam...should have hung up! waste of 2 minutes

this number called my mobile this morning..i wasnt going to answer but i did...it turns out to be an insurance company acting on behalf of an injury lawyer scheme..who claimed to have been given an old file with my name on it for a car accident i had 3 yrs ago...i dont drive nor have i had a car accident in the last 3 yrs...the caller promised to remove my details and not call again...
