Normally they call me from different Aberdeen Numbers, so now they're trying to catch me out by phoning me from Dumfries. Called from this number 08.31 today - caller claimed to be from my bank and that there had been suspicious payments on my bank card. This was followed by the usual requests that I press numbers to confirm or reject these payments, I did neither just hung up and checked my bank information.

I have had a call from this number as I do not know it I let the answering machine get it, as soon as the announcement started the caller hung up. When I dialled the number back using 141 to block my own number the call was not picked up. I suspect a call centre of some form possibly phishing. Also had a missed call from 02089022724 which I assume is the same outfit. If genuine reason for call, why not leave a message?
