Called from this number 08.31 today - caller claimed to be from my bank and that there had been suspicious payments on my bank card. This was followed by the usual requests that I press numbers to confirm or reject these payments, I did neither just hung up and checked my bank information.

Amazon prime scam, “ you have been charged £95 from Visa card for prime services please press 1” etc nearly picked up as it was from a local area code number

They knew my name and said they'd been authorised by the government to handle a legal case against FX Trading. I knew it was a fraudulent phonecall when they wanted ID and statements from me. My phone picked up that they were calling from Rome but the man clearly said he was working for the UK government. Very dodgy!

Be careful dealing with this number. He is acting as a professional and will show a lot of fake proof for you to believe and get your trust. He is a very dangerous in person. I'm giving a serious warning to all girls, especially here in UK meeting with him. I hope nobody will be the next victim and suffer the same faith with me.

On answering, I got a recorded message saying it was something to do with bank security, followed by a message that was intended to frighten. I hung up, and have blocked the number. Looks like another Scam or Fraud as I'm not due any delivery's and the Post Office leave a card through your door when they can't get an answer, also I was in the whole day, I have reported the text message and number to the Ofcom scam text number: 7726 must be the 7th number I've reported now since I found the number to report scams to.
