Checked this number on reverse lookup which suggests that this is a Vodafone number. I then I checked on Vodafone 'is it us calling' which says that this is not a Vodafone number
When I asked who they were they said BT Broadband, but they did not know my name!!
I haven’t answered this call yet as I tend to not answer calls where I don’t recognise the number - I figure if it’s important they’ll leave a voicemail. I am suspicious of this number because after receiving a possible ?phishing call I made a 1471 call to discover the number the call came from I was given this number, which I rang. It was answered by a man who told me he was in Kent and i told him why I had called his number but nothing else(my name or location) i suggested he should look into how this could have happened and that his line might be compromised somehow.
