Most probably a scam, as they claimed to be paypal, but paypal never called me and i suspect if theres something they want to find out, it wont be a machine voice. Be aware!
Fraud A friend of mine had money disappearing from her bank account, she's Burmese and her English isn't so good so I looked into it for her. Turns out it's a company called Florist-world.com that took 2 euro from her account then took 24 euro every 2 weeks. Spoke to a gentleman who called from this number. Sounded middle eastern. Was very polite and respectful, He asked me if I could send him video of me having sex with a pig. I told him I would not feel right violating his wife. He laughed wildly and hung up!

Fraud Said they were from HSBC and wanted me to go through security. I said I'd call them back and at that point they gave me the genuine HSBC number (I said I'd look it up anyway). So I called the genuine number, 03457 404404, and wasted my time and HSBCs, as there was - surprise surprise - no suspicious activity on the account.

I got a message about a delivery of a parcel which I didn’t expect. It’s asking for the payment of £1.76 for the import duties. It has my name,address and the number.
3 times these person called me after saying twice nicely that I wasn't interested and hanged up. The 3rd time wasn't so nice and asked to speak to management and he refused to and then was threatening as well saying who do you think I am and do you know who I am etc.
