An male idiot called me to follow up on a brochure I had ordered. I told him I previously did arrange for a home visit and these planks cancelled it at 2 hours notice citing a broken down car. I told him that this was a lame excuse - hadn’t they heard of car hire? He kept saying “ we can foretell a breakdown” repeatedly! I said listen buster, I’m not saying you need to forecast a broken down car what I’m saying is once it was realised a car HAD broken down why on earth (if customer service is THAT important

It sounded like an automatic voice, I think. It was definitely more than one voice and it didn't seem like a live person talking with me.

Told the caller his records were out of date as they were the last time he called.... so I don't think we have anything to discus. Hung up. SCAM: I answered a call from this number and got an automated voice message saying I had placed an order ( Did not catch the name of the place I supposedly ordered from) and been charged £381.

Fraud - claim to be from HMRC and there is a warrant for your arrest. They say don't hang up phone call otherwise they will record that you tried to run away from arrest and they will be waiting at your place of residence until you arrive to arrest you. With the pandemic, lots of people have had trouble paying tax, so it might seem real, but this is a scam. They will always give you a chance to work out a payment plan. Avoid, block.
