Phoned once. Answered it but didn t say anything. Girl asked for me by name. I made enough noise that she knew someone was there and waited a minute then hung up. Half an hour later, a man called. Joe. I said "You re coming up as a nuisance call on my phone. Why is that?". He identified himself as Joe from a company called Clear Answer working on behalf of EE. Had a call today asking for my husband who passed away in may, he said oh yes I remember when we spoke he was ill, then said it was me that had been in touch with them regarding new windows, told him no as I already have new ones and I have a local builder that does anything I want done. Scammers have found yet another number to use. This one told me that the cover on my washing machine had expired - I have no such insurance, warranty or guarantee. Caller had my name and address despite being registered with TPS. Another crook and clearly a scam.

Insulation "I'm your local energy consultant," he starts. I let him ramble on for a few minutes and then told him that I wasn't interested. Immediate call cut off. Checked the number that he called from. Local? Oh, then why are you calling me on behalf of an organisation that's apparently based in a town 200 miles away? Pure spam. They've called me before.
