scam call pretending H & R customs
Fraud - automated call saying it was my bank (didn't say which bank!!!) detailed two transactions it said was made this morning one to Amazon and one a transfer abroad. Asked me to press 1 to cancel transactions or 2 to authorize. I'm guessing that this would then take me to a premium line number or someone asking for my details. I just hung up of course. The scary thing is that it showed as coming from a local dialing code or I wouldn't have answered it.

Robin called. Sounded foreign. Said he was calling from the call blocking and scam department. When I asked what company he was calling from he said "the national call blocking company limited" i said there was no such thing. Curious how this was 24 hours after "microsoft" called me and I told them I didn't believe them..... Told him the only legit call blocking was The Telephone Preference Service, and he hung up.

Call from 02034589975 the call is originating in an Indian call centre and the caller asks for name, DOB and address before telling me they've located my Vodafone account (which doesn't exist and my details were entirely fictional). Call made by a female with a heavy accent accent, pretending to be from Sky to check your internet connection speed 'because Sky are doing upgrades in your area' She tries to gain access to your phone and laptop by asking you to preform searches and logging onto an unrelated website. After deliberately giving her the run around because it was obvious she was a con artist, I received verbal racial abuse and a threat of violence for wasting her time.
