I was called by these people and sold a policy to cover my Hotpoint appliances for 12 months. The person seamed to know about my Hotpoint purchases and gave the impression that hes was actually from Hotpoint. I took out the cover and cancelled an existing cover with Legal and General. When I wanted a repair doing and contacted Hotpoint they arranged the repair and then told me I had no cover in place and billed me. Cold call. I checked with my supplier Welsh Water who confirmed it was a genuine marketing call. I recommended to Welsh Water that their website should state that Accent make calls on their behalf.
