This call was supposed to be from Amazon telling me I had ordered something for 399 pounds.I get these calls nearly every day why don t the police get after these scammers.

It is payday UK. It will be to discuss any outstanding loan you have/remind you of any upcoming payments. I went on to live chat on their website whom confirmed the call was from them - I have recommended they add the number they call from to their website as google search shows it as a telepest rather than a genuine call. They say they are calling about the miss-selling of payment protection insurance. I first got the calls in early May when i guess they were just checking whether the random digit diallings were live numbers and saving them into a list. Now they are selling the list or carrying out surveys themselves. This needs to stop. I know people who work in call centres doing this type of thing. It s a slimey business.

Had a call from this number on my Moby, I answered it and asked who they were. Fella said he was from a company that was enquiring if I had a Funeral Plan in place. Cold calling from companies that trawl the internet looking for innocent people like me who have inadvertently entered into legitimate competitions online and think that because I have entered my Moby Number to the competition company, that they can ring me. I blocked this number straightaway on my Moby.

Call today from "The Review Team" about life insurance. When asked where they had got my number from they stated I had looked into life insurance on a comparison web site and given them permission. I stated this was not true and I was not interested in life insurance. Caller became rude and stated "you re just not listing to me are ya" true as I cancelled the call and blocked them
