Fraud/ SPAM/ SCAM/ Paid number. Indian male claimed to be from PC Curries asking which phone I was using and whether I wanted to buy an upgrade. I messed around with him a bit so he went silent and I hung up.
Amazon SPAM AND FRAUD. The recorded bot promises 200 euros for an investment in Amazon. Amazon needs to get a huge fine for this kind of spam.
SCAM I was phoned by this number today. It was a crackly line and the woman said she it was a bank call telling me that there were 2 suspicious payments from my bank account today. One for £300 and one for £3000. There were nos to press to agree to the payments or a number to speak to someone. I ended the call and then redialled the number registered, but it said that it was an incorrect number.

Threatening phone call re a “non existent” outstanding balance on a television contract. After hanging up on them they immediately rang me back with a very aggressive attitude. Refused to accept that I don’t have such a thing and they responded by saying they would be withdrawing £400 from my credit card. I have alerted my credit card company that this has happened and hopefully it goes no further.

This call came into me whilst I was in the shower. The female operator started talking immediately, I had to really raise my voice to interrupt her call whereby I explained that I could not he at her as I did not have my hearing aids in, but was in the process of trying to put them in. My expectation was that she would hold on whilst I did that. Instead with no hearable comment the phone went dead. I felt she was extremely rude, I’m disabled, had got out of the shower to answer her call & Im deaf.

unable to determine where this call came from but suspect it to be a banking scam call.

So when I see Tunisia on phone display blocked and reported to all possible-ICO/7726 and all on line forums utter utter scumbags. WhatsApp getting lately which I’ve never had. How come NOTHING DONE BY ANY AGENCIES? This number has over 100k look ups as a scam?! Find prosecute and put in tech that stops this once and for all-Bas*ards! Caller from this number claimed to be from EE network which was unbelievable due to thos callers total lack of professionalism and dreadful attitude. Obviously yet just another tedious no hoper trying to scam the vulnerable with all the brinkmanship, skill and dexterity of a toddler with a plastic sword. If this is the level our scammers are currently operating at, then we genuinely have very little to fear.

someone claiming to be from O2 called me just now from this number. They were offering a 30% discount on all my bills until the end of my contract, asked me if I wanted to go ahead and told me I would get two text messages with a code I needed to read back to them. Usefully, the text messages were from O2 (the caller had gone into my profile and done a forgotten password which triggers the texts) but the messages said very clearly not to share the info with anyone, even if they claim to be working from O2.

Well spoken young male claiming to be from BT business and looking to review my phone usage and how I could reduce my costs. When I advised him that this was a residential line he said that as it was still being used for a business he could probably still save me money. When I showed disinterest he advised me that I would need to have a conversation with them soon as BT were discontinuing analogue phone services next year and we would lose our service if we didn't transfer to digital. I hung up.
