This was the first time there was an automated call at the other end purporting to be from HMRC asking me to press 1 because I hadn’t replied to them so they would start legal proceedings. People find it hard to stay committed again. It’s becoming a difficult thing. Getting information & data you need is quite not a big deal. Sometimes the truth needs to be unveiled by whatsoever means necessary. SCAM Call from this number and again a male with a strong Asian accent. He knew my name and asked if I was that person. I didn't confirm but when I questionned him about who he was, he said he was calling from Health Department. When I asked him to define WHICH Health Department, he stalled. I said "you don't know, do you? There are many UK Health departments". At this point he simply hung up. I consider thiis a risk and potential scam.

Recorded femael voice with American accent saying she was from my bank's security and two withdrawls had been made on my card. No name of bank, card, or card holder. This is a scam to obtain my personal details or gain access to my phone.

They called pretending to be our internet provider and wanted to connect to our internet to see if there were any issues. When we declined and told them that we had a dedicated I.T department that dealt with that, they hung up.

Fraud Call centre, pretend to be "running security" for Virgin Broadband, call to say they have "seen problems on the line". When I told them I wasn't on Virgin, they waffle on about how they do the security for all broadband suppliers, because Virgin supplies the lines for them all. I told them I was on Grain, and then they just imediately hung up. Obvious fraud scam.
