The caller rang of as soon as I answered. Therefore I suspect some Sort of sales rubbish or scammer. They will not get a chance to mess me about again as I am blocking the number. I hate this method of trying to sell things to the general public. Most of my peer group no longer answer their land line or their mobile if the number is not in their phones contact list.

Caller from this number stated that hmrc were giving back tax paid on ppi claims. I was due over £6000! Proceeded to ask me help to fill R40 form, my date of birth and then my national insurance number. At that point I asked her to send me the form as I didn't want to give my details. I think this could be a scam.

TAXES / HMRC SCAM - Received a call from this number. Recorded message informing me that a letter from HMRC had been returned and therefore proceedings are going to be issued against me. I was instructed to press '1' to speak to an advisor but I hung up instead and reported the call to ICO.org.uk. I am hoping that this is not somebody's private number being cloned.

Received text quoting my name incorrectly asking me to ring about an appointment made for me. No knowledge of it so left well alone, anticipate it to be a scam.
I received an automated voice call from this number, telling me that they were from my Internet provider and my Internet services will be disconnected due to illegal use. They requested me to "press 1 to speak to an advisor" but I hung up. I then returned the call from my landline and received an automated reply telling me that nobody was available to take my call. Claimed to be able to save me money on my mobile phone bill. Claimed originally to be from EE, but that isn't my provider, he then argued with me about my provider - he eventually hung up. I always keep them talking as much as possible to save the next poor victim.

A robocaller from "mastercard" saying £600 from my account was sent to a foreign country and to press 1 to cancel or something. Clearly a scam I never sent that much to any foreign country.

UPDATE FROM CHEAP WEB DESIGN: Unfortunately we continue to be hounded by scammers which is resulting in thousands of people calling us back to see why they were called (we're only a team of 8 so have had to disable our phones and put a pre-recorded message). This is a Visa fraud scam. They tell you there has been unusual activity on you card from a betting company in the USA and to press 1 to talk to the fraud team. AVOID !!!!

We have 2 phones sending 2051 sms. Both are Nokia C21 plus and appear to have been hacked or have malware in stock ROM. Other owners of this phone are reporting the same problem.
