Telephone call from 07979 752324 at 10:23 on Thursday 23 March. Female caller requested one minute to ask personal questions. Replied "no", however female caller carried on speaking. Did not answer any questions. Believe caller fishing for personal information in order to start some type of fraud. Female caller then terminated call, so number then blocked immediately.

This number rang me on my mobile phone at 2pm Tues 17th Jan 203. No one spoke to me. The call was terminated spontaneously in a few seconds. I think it is a SPAM / SCAM caller.
Caller hung up about 10 seconds into silent voicemail...

Said they were calling from Amazon about a high value order I placed. Asked me to confirm. I knew straight away it was a scam as the caller was trying to panic me into cancelling the order and log into account
I received a text on 26/02/2023 at 15:58 telling me my Facebook account was frozen and to use the 6 digit code for two-factor authentication I was given. I called the number later and got Tesco mobile voicemail.

The man has an Asian accent and says that because I have not had any call outs for my heating within the last year they are going to reduce my monthly payments to £24.99 and then puts me onto his manager to sort out the paper work, etc. The manager comes on, he also has an Asian accent and says just to clarify things to give him my Bank sort code number. I immediately said no and hung up. definitely a scam, please do not give them any information regarding your bank details.

I didn't, and please don't answer calls from unknown numbers like this. Type the number into Google afterwards and see what comes up... If it's an 'unexpected call' you've had, then likely it's a Spam/Scam call. Wait them out and look it up after ... If it's an elderly relative who mentions they've been getting these calls, please tell them to ignore it. If anyone important calls they will generally always leave a voice mail you can get back to anyway.

Got a call from 01564634905. The operator said he worked for UK Debt Solutions, it was a bit difficult to understand him because of his Indian like accent and I was right next to some factories thrumming away. This is an actual real firm's number. But the number has been taken over by some scammer who is contacting random people. I did not answer the phone in time, so rang back and the company said they had several people ringing back who had been approached by scammers. Awful for them to be used like this.
