DANGEROUS SCAM. The Phone rang and caller (a computer) hung up when I didn't speak! This was a computer generated call trying to sniff out voice lines. Caller was an Indian man giving the name of James from a “health” company- have had similar calls before from different numbers so obviously a call centre, want to know details of your vaccination status, etc, then ends up with a “life cover review” and asks you to accept new life cover from them. Caller did not like fact I knew this and I immediately said I am not looking to review my life cover, he told me to “grow up” and hung up!
pretended to me that i had won an electric toothbrush i stupidly supplied some bank details for postage supposedly of 3 then they set up a recurring direct debit and took a further 2499 without my permission so i hurredly blocked them and changed my CC i am still awaiting reimbursment from my bank

I had met my ex wife in college and we were a big part of each others push to sucess. we have been good all through our 15 years of marriage not until I noticed she's been distant and wanting to keep more to herself. This number is a bank Number released for people in their network cokeabda.com to pay in. The bank name is X-Network Nigeria/Qpay Company. They have blocked the employer from withdrawing and also the group Whatsapp which is suspected to be a fraudulent platform. Received a text message that "Simon" tried to deliver my package, but no one was home, and to "reshedule" my delivery by accessing {OBVIOUSLY FAKE WEBSITE!} "postoffice-reshedule-depot.com". Incorrect spelling of reschedule not once but twice was the first warning it was a SCAM. Then looking at the full website address.......yeah....obviously fake, and a quick google search leads to a number of Phishing / Scam reports using this same web address. 100% confirmed scam.

Claims to be BT openreach technical department. couldn't confirm account holder name. wanted me to use laptop or computer to check speeds. Told him I had done that already this morning and was quite happy with it but he was insisting I tried it on my computer or laptop. I was apparently overpaying for the speed i was getting and should be refunded.?!?!? hung up at that point, I couldn't be bothered listening anymore.

I have twice received calls last week from somebody (Roger, I think) claiming to be from SSE. He wanted to talk about a new contract. He didn’t specify whether it was gas or electricity. Comes up as suspected spam. Guy with an Indian accent said he was calling from a South African call centre on a Manchester landline! Claims he works for a company called UK Tariff that finds out if you're paying too much for your broadband or finds better deals. Thing is this so called company harasses with calls like 24/7 from different numbers most of the day. Hoping you're gullible enough to get to the part where you hand over your bank details. Best way is to report and block if it flags as spam.

This number calls claiming to be from HMRC, they say they have discrepancies in your tax return and your national insurance number will be suspended if they are not correct. At this point I hung up.
