Told the caller his records were out of date as they were the last time he called.... so I don't think we have anything to discus. Hung up. Awaiting callback from my GP when this call came. Male caller talked about a free medical emergency pendant, but implied that there was a paid membership. It increasingly sounded like a sales call and I couldn't really see how this related to my medical issue. He asked about my willingness to give a testimonial, talking about medical response times, peace of mind for family - I was becoming further mystified as to why I was being called. Suspicious.

I got a phone call from this number claiming to be from Microsoft. (Indian call handler) They said my computer was compromised but I don’t own a computer so knew it was a scam. I kept talking to them to waste their time and then eventually told them I’d be reporting them to police. She tried to convince me still they were legitimate. When I told her I knew it was scam and I didn’t have computer she lost her temper and started cursing at me insulting me and then ended call

I had a call this afternoon apparently from this number 08000234567, which I know is the number of the Financial Ombudsman's Office, when the caller said he was from the fraud dept of my bank. I had called the Financial Ombudsman earlier in the day on that number. It did not feel right and when I challenged the caller he put down the phone. There seems to be no neg on this number but it’s been looked up 10x It rang for the obligatory seconds associated with loop numbers when hopefully the caller wants me to pick up As I am not expecting any landline from London number I didn’t answer as I’m a bit suspicious I am more and more vigilant If it was genuine they will call back or better still email Stay safe out there!
