SCAM - Call to my landline at 9.53 today. It was a pre-recorded message saying they were querying a suspicious Debit Card payment of £600 sent abroad. They did not say what bank or give any other details. I was asked to press 1 to speak to someone or 2 to confirm. I hung up.
Called 5 times always using incorrect information mostly from user data stolen from some place and keeps pushing to get your address details house move etc Given I work in a bank it was easy to get this is a spam I told them to not call and blocked

A legit company is linked to the full number I.e (0)122 etc but it's displaying at +44. Said they were BT, I had too many people using my IP. The account name was wrong. They said they could block them from their server, but it would be better from my PC. After my challenges they sent a text message with a verification code. It said to change my password. I did. Had one previously, real BT support said it was a scam. Assumed this identical call was too. Only the false account name was a clue, otherwise how can you tell?
