HMRC scam. They first called off a mobile number, I answered hung up & hung up after hearing a recorded message saying that I had committed fraud & to press one to speak to someone or I would be arrested. They then called back on this number to be verbally abusive towards me. HMRC would not do that! Block every number they use. Total scam. These people need to get a life & a proper job that contributes to society in a positive way.

UK +447738015632 is a Scam caller. Hang up, block the number & report it. I answered & it took a couple of seconds to connect to the caller, in the way offshore call centres connect. Sure enough an Indian accented woman said "Hello how are you?" When I asked who she was, she said she was calling from she replied, Curry's PC World. Fraud called themselves Virgin Mobile but later found to be Cheetay Logistics PVT Ltd (pakistan) took loads of details promising to reduce monthly Phone bills and provide a new phone. After asking for passwords and discussing a new contract, bank details were taken and phone to be delivered. They tried to then scam £13,065.01 out of a bank account starting with a £9.35 delivery charge, a £30 bank check then took a £24 charge further amounts stopped bank details changed and reported to the fraud squad.
Keeps calling for the last 3 days, when I answer, there is no sound and when I call back it doesn't even give a ring tone.
Phone warned me of a suspicious call. Did not answer.
SCAM An automated message was left advising that it is officer Dennis Grey from HM Revenue and Customs, the hotline to his division is the number this called from and I must call back on that number. I must not disregard the message and if I do not call back or they don't hear from my solicitor I should get ready to face the legal consequences.
