SCAM call from someone suggesting he was from BT and seeking access to our broadband to correct a fault as they had been receiving lots of alerts and that our IP address was being used in the public domain. On calling back, i got an automated message saying that this number had not been recognised.

My wife started texting a customer from her work, as it started to increase I asked her what it was all about? She told me that he was upset because a mutual friend of ours would not go out with him b/c she was all ready in a relationship with me. I let it go at the time. Had 2 calls and both at 10.42 am one day and 10.43am the other following day . I used a land line that does not show its number to call back and the number does not accept call back . I block these pest numbers on my Mobil once I know they are spam . This number is spam and now blocked .

Apparently someone from "credit investigation" saying I have "several debts" but that they know "I'm paying them off" and attempted to get more information from me. Absolutely a massive scam caller, no company name given and just factually incorrect. They're fishing for some poor person who's in debt that will believe the nonsense they're saying. Be very careful and do not give them information, they had my full name. Scammer/Phishing.

Phoned purporting to be from my bank (spoofed number) . An automated call saying that two unusual transactions had been made on my card , one of £300 to Amazon and another of £400 on a money transfer. Then proceeded to give ‘ press 1’, ‘press 2 ‘ instructions. I just blocked the number. This is a SCAM! AVOID engaging with them!
