Silent call rang my mobile on WhatsApp. A picture of a young woman with long dark hair appeared - don’t know her, no name. Rang x2 but she hung up after it rang a couple of times. I’ve blocked the number. Sure it’s a scam of some type.

Coronavirus. Claimed to be from government updating records about coronavirus. This is the 4th call with this claim. They ask questions about vaccination and whether you have had the virus. They claim there is some government initiative to pay half of insurance claims relating to the virus. The whole exercise comes to a stop when I won't tell them who my life insurance is with. One call even suggested I make up a provider, so I suggested he make one up. Seems like a phishing scam.

Challenged them on ignoring TPS, and fact that they have obtained data illegally since all domain registration detail is now 'redacted' - caller hung up. Sounded like a VOIP line, big call centre by the level of noise in the background and most likely Indian sub-continent from accent of caller.
