Yet another bunch is of scammers in New Delhi India 5th floor of a well known building seen on BBC

I asked how they have my number and she said from a shared database of all UK providers, although this would seemingly breach GDPR for sharing customer's contact details and wouldn't make sense for the businesses to risk losing customers this way. Fraud SCAM Banking Bank scam, of which they don't actually state which bank is calling, in which you will be informed that your account has been debited £300 on something from Amazon and another £1100 on an unspecified international purchase. Message also suggest the you ring back to speak to an operator with the company, again not named, if you need further help or information. I suggest you DO NOT do this.

Received a call stating from British Gas with regards to my boiler cover. Advised that I will be covered for £22 a month and asked for my sortcode and account number. They also advised that if I had any issues with my boiler I should call the freephone number which was 01202 138 752. When I advised them that I work for British Gas Services which I do they hung up. SCAM Female operator trying to tell me the company she worked for controlled my broadband and that i could be getting a better rate. When i declined and requested she didn't call me again, she became very argumentative to the point she was shouting down the phone.

Calling regards to tax refund from HMRC also asking about claiming tax back from PIP benefit. Didnt answer, i called back, they already knew my name. Dodgy people.

This was my local code but the recorded message said that 2 different amounts of money had been taken out of our bank!

A man called to say he was from BT open reach and they had been getting security alerts about my IP address, which had been changed from private to public, so he would talk me through how to change it back on my computer. I told him to get a proper job and get lost.

...I do not remember calling this number or answering it. 49 minutes would have been the longest call of the year and I would have remembered. Fraud or scam, I have definitely been ripped off.

I don't know anyone in that area. It was a random call which I didn't answer. It can only be an attempted scam.

TOTAL SCAM FRAUD, telling me 2 transactions were made on my visa mastercard account (which I do not have) for £700 and £900 and to press 1 after the tone. I checked my actual bank accounts and are all OK.
