Looks like yet another new number being used by scammers. Unrecognized number so let it go to answerphone - caller hung up as soon as it cut in. At best a wrong number, but almost certainly another annoying scam.

I am really fed up with these type of constant calls, I am ex-directory and with the Telephone Preference Service I have complained about this number to Ofcom and will keep doing this every time I get these unwanted calls. It s about time the government did something about this constant harassment.

This company keeps calling my 18 year daughter telling her that they have a letter from the government informing them that she is in debt! Absolutely unbelievable and disgusting. This number kept calling my mobile, but I kept missing speaking with whomever was calling. I actually picked up a call today and a man with a sing-song accent (hard to understand) said he was from the Citizen s Advice Bureau, which I thought highly unlikely. He then went on to ask me if I had had any accidents recently - any trips, falls, car accidents etc etc. Scam merchant - I told him to remove my name from his call sheet and never call again.
