Fraud scam. Scam insurance crash call. The call operator was obviously very new at this. Fumbled and stumbled his way through the script in barely understandable “Hind-lish”. I stopped him and told him he was really terrible at this game, should stop now, he’s not cut out to be another sh*tty scammer. Told him his parents would be ashamed of him. He apologised and cut the call.

This number just called my landline, the lady claimed that she was from Sky and that it had been reported time that my sky broadband was not performing at the correct speed. She did not confirm any of my customer details. Then she asked me what devices were connected to the broadband and instructed me to go to the p.c, so tat I could adjust the broadband settings. I have called applianceserve on 08004118899. I said I had asked for a refund of the £175 I had paid for my washing machine to cover the next 3 years following the expiry of the manufacturer s guarantee but had not received any response. Having seen comments on the internet saying it was a scam, I said if the company is genuine then please can you arrange a refund. She looked up my details and said someone will call me tomorrow in office hours. She sounded pleasant - so - watch this space!!

This phone number (01202137375) is from a representative (called Chris) of HomeLogic, a company that sells and installs LogicFoam loft insulation. It is quite safe and is not a scam. It's a cold call that tries to persuade you to install this type of loft insulation i.e. spray foam. The caller said that it's part of a Government initiative to supply every home in Britain with this type of insulation. However, I don't believe this - I suspect that this is just salesman's patter.
