01642 657869 – Received call 08.37 Thursday 10/12/2020 to an EX Directory BT landline. Phone rang answered & they hung up. I did 1471 to gain the No. for the phone to keep ringing their end when I rang it. The No. hails from Middlesborough UK
Why are they calling me.
Just to report same issues as other people have complained about. They just keep phoning - started with once a day but then increased to at least three times a day.

Very fishy number. They called me but the person on the phone was a recorded message telling me to call them back. It also said if I disregarded the message I could face legal consequences. Surely, if it was that serious, a real person would be talking to me and not some recorded message. Based on the other review of that number, I won’t be called back.

The number as reported has only 10 digits, it needs 11 to be valid. Some Santander numbers do start 05511 so in principle it s probably genuine, except too short.

Any number that comes through that doesn t leave a message or is unknown to me I just put it in my blocked list and delete it immediately.
