The call was probably not from Plymouth. These calls use spoofed numbers and originate outside the UK. Just block the number if you have the facility.

Well, this seems to be another range of numbers used by the same call centre or company (but it is more usual that call centre has some range of numbers dedicated for them), This one seems to use 02034760xxx range - so far we have collected numbers of +4420347606xx and +4420347603xx and +4420347600xx ranges, can be still the same call centre. All such numbers are mostly reported as some financial services, but as unsolicited calls. The main question is how they got our numbers...

a man that sounded as if he came from india or pakistan called me Wednesday 24th February 2016 at 5.40pm while I was in my car in traffic with my 2 kids in the back. Wanted to sell me something. I asked repeatedly who he was, where he got my number and where he was calling from. He hanged up. He immediately called me back and all he said very loudly and aggressively YOU F****** B**CH! and hanged up. I was very upset and the kids were distressed. I called the number back and it immediately want dead.

Received a call from this number this afternoon. Chap with a Scottish accent. Claimed to be from Invest Scotland and then stated that according to their records I had had cavity wall/loft insulation carried out in the last few years and also had windows that were more than 10 years old. Asked how he had got the information and he said from the national builders register. Despite sounding like a nice women and pausing at the right moments and responding to the answers you give, it is clearly automated! Pauses too long, not natural. When I asked if the caller was automated she said 'no' and then simply said 'no' to everything else I then said! I hung up. I suggest to ask for the name and of the company and the caller representative immediately and not proceed further with the call if this cannot be given!
