Just had a call from this crowd (World Web Service), asking if I was the main user of the Microsft windows device in the house. The line was bad and he had to keep repeating him...
SCAM ....I got a text at 10.30pm allegedly from Gov.uk saying I was due a tax refund and to fill in my details and then see if I was really due a tax refund. I called the number back and it rang out for a while and went onto voicemail GIFFGAFF VOICEMAIL! I left a message asking when the government started using Giffgaff and not to contact me again as I would be calling the police. It is under the guise of HMRC ALERT. On checking the number here it comes up as Manchester and O2 network

I d seen the comments on this site so when I answered I challenged her. She asked how much I topped up and I said well if you were vodafone you d know that. She blustered on and I just put the phone down and she withered on for absolutely ages, and rang back immediately. Still phoning twice a day though :(
Claims to be from Aviva. I asked what the cover was for specifically and he hung up.
