I am from The Netherlands and this number calls me very often. However, I am always too late with answering my phone. I don t know anyone who lives in England, so I have no idea who this person may be. This is why I m really curious who this person/company is. This number is clearly a scam stating taxes are owed & legal proceedings will be started. 1. The terminology (& robotic voice) is American. 2. HMRC will never phone you. They will message you to go to your on-line account.

Scam from a company that will ask to get money from you through a voucher (3V prepaid voucher) because they say:"You have been accepted for a personal loan". By any cost, do not believe them, trust me, I have been there. They just take your money, and that s it, you have to pay more and more charges after that. So DO NOT FALL FOR THIS BULLSHIT.
Fraud. Got a call from this number claiming that I had been committing tax fraud, and if I didn't press "1" during the call, a warrant would be issued for me and I would be arrested immediately.

Cold call from "a Government approved" energy company.
Very fishy number. They called me but the person on the phone was a recorded message telling me to call them back. It also said if I disregarded the message I could face legal consequences. Surely, if it was that serious, a real person would be talking to me and not some recorded message. Based on the other review of that number, I won’t be called back.

SCAM / SPAM I received a call from this number, came up as Derby, supposed to be from HMRC, there was a warrant under my name and if I didn’t press 1 immediately then I would be arrested, I hung up without pressing anything, please be careful.
This number called me asking for bank details, date of birth etc. They said they were sending a free emergency alarm to elderly people. I would just have to pay the maintenance fee.

He wanted to talk to the person who deals with electricity bills, so I asked him whether he meant the business or home account. I don t think he understood me, got mildly aggressive, so I repeated myself until he said the business account. Then I said "well our business is a boat, it doesn t use gas or electricity, so unless you can supply me red diesel at a competitive rate there is nothing you can do for me." Hopefully I won t hear from him again.
