Rang up today asking me to answer a questionnaire on whether I was eligible for a free sofa. I politely declined as I already have a perfectly decent sofa!

The number flashed up on my mobile, but didn t ring long enough for me to answer. I called the number back and it answered as Nest pensions (I do have a pension with Nest).
Reported elsewhere as various types of scam but most often some sort of Lottery syndicate.

They rang me to tell me that they were calling me from BT and were offering a service upgrade to eliminate harassment or telemarketing calls. I said that was fine, however she then asked me for details off my card for identity verification to which I answered you rang me and told me my name?? I ended the phone call very soon after that and didn t part with any details. If this is a genuine call from BT they should be pulled up for harassment themselves.
