Just got a text message from this number regarding job opportunities and wanting some further details. Clearly another scammer as I have been retired 15 years and not the slightest interest in working again!

Have received 3 calls recently, each one is a prerecorded American voice telling me I'm being investigated for DHSS fraud. Received a call from this Dublin number. With an American voice, I was told that I owed money to the HMRC and I had not responded to a letter I had been sent. Clearly a scam.

It was a recorded message with a very polite womans voice stating she was from bank security advising that there was two suspicious transactions from my account one was £300 pound from Amazon and the other was a card transaction from abriad of £1300. The recorded message then asked me to press ONE to speak to an advsor. I hung up the phone immediately and called 1471 the call was timed at 1345 hrs on 26-01-2023,

FrI was caught out by this today. Luckily, I realised after the call ended and was able to change my account details before any damage was done. The scammers knew all of my details - full name, address, email address, how much I'm billed each month - even my security question. They were very convincing. They applied just enough pressure when the texts to change my account detail came in that I didn't have time to read them properly. Thankfully, I read them after the call and got straight on to O2 to change
