They asked if I was in an accident. After I repeteadly told them no they still proceeded to ask follow up questions as if I said yes. I could have just hung up but I decided to be polite and asked whether they can hear me! In the end I asked where they got my number from after which they finally acknowledged that I wasn t in an accident that wasn t my fault and said they d get my number off their list.

Called today asking for me. But because my surname was completely mispronounced despite sharing it with a legendary actor, I insisted on being called by my surname. Not just famous, by the way, but legendary. Then they asked me to verify how my first name was pronounced. My first name is common and easy to pronounce.
